Mark Ronson, a style icon

Steve and Co. loves Mark Ronson: so stylish, rock and vintage inspired.
The British music maker, despite a young age and an occupation that would suggest sloppy style, suits up when he steps out.

Ronson rocks pencil-thin suits, comfortable cardigan with slim shirt, skinny tie and a tie bar, one of his signature accessories.
Would you like to replace his look?
Shop details here:

- skinny tie, the little eties (shop on line);

- tie bar (shop on line);

- suede belt (shop on line).

Janelle Monae loves bow ties, tuxedos and man accessories

Janelle Monae loves bow ties and tuxedos and Steve and Co. loves her original and refined style.
Ever since she hit the scene as a member of OutKast’s posse in 2006, Janelle Monae has stood out not only for her unique voice and James Brown-like dancing skills, but her afro-pompadour hairstyle and masculine tuxedo-focused style.

Her style today is focused solely on tuxedos and oxford flats, she chooses black and white, and smart details such as bow ties, suspenders and skinny ties…absolutely fabulous!

Would you like to try Janelle Monae style? Put on these:

- Bow ties (shop on line here);

- Ties (shop on line here);

- Suspenders (shop on line here);

- Jewels cufflinks (shop on line here).

Coldplay Christmas Lights

Coldplay celebrate Christmas time with this brand new song (instead of the same cover…).
‘Christmas night, another fight.
Tears we cried; a flood.
Got all kinds of poison in, poison in my blood.
Took my feet, to Oxford street, trying to right a wrong.
“Just walk away”, those windows say, but I can’t believe she’s gone.
When you’re still waiting for the snow to fall,
It doesn’t really feel like Christmas at all.

Grinderman 2: Nick Cave has come back

Grinderman 2 is the title of the new album just released by Nick Cave and his band.
Grinderman 2 continues the animal theme, but this time, the cover star is a lone wolf, let loose in a marble bathroom and this suits perfectly the change in mood and the deep desperation of the first album having been supplanted by dirty malevolence.

Ok Go Last Leaf new video

Ok Go have just released another brilliant music video for the song ‘Last Leaf’ directed by Geoff McFetridge.
It is comprised entirely of photographs…15 still shots for every second of video and surely lots and lots of toast!
The result is a bit different than the last few videos Ok Go have made from this album, but I definely love it!

Mick Rock new book and exhibition

Mick Rock is a famous photographer better known as “The Man Who Shot the ’70s,” that became famous thanks to a picture taken to an unknown David Bowie in 1972. Then spent the next four decades capturing the who’s who of rock royalty.
We love Mick Rock and his style and his personal point of view to the rock’s universe that now we can see on a new book called “Exposed: The Faces of Rock ‘n’ Roll” and in the exhibition “Rock: Music” on view at NYC’s Morrison Hotel Gallery.

The exhibition features large format prints of some of the most distinctive music portraits of all time, including rare photographs from sessions with Syd Barrett, Iggy Pop and Bryan Ferry and video art from Dean Holtermann…
That’s great!

Jamiroquai new album is Rock Dust Light Star

25 million albums sold. Over 20 hit singles. A career which has spanned an era defying 18 years: and now Jay Kay and his band are back to reclaim their crown as one of the UK’s premiere musical exports with their 7th studio album called ‘Rock Dust Light Star‘.
With this new work Jamiroquai have moved on from the sound they helped popularise and reverted to a more organic, live sound. The shift is one that has revitalised the band, and produced their most engaging, vital album in years.

In singer Jay Kay’s words, “Everything on the record is live. It’s a real band record. The last, album – fantastic – but the whole thing became a little sterile. This time we’ve captured the flow of our live performances.” The album has been recorded mainly at Jay’s home studio in Buckinghamshire, and also at legendary Hook End Manor in Oxfordshire. The album is entirely written by Kay and his Jamiroquai bandmates and produced by Kay alongside first time…

Are you curious about the first new single? Go after jump to heard ‘White Knuckle Ride’…
