Have you ever seen a Chair looks to ties and suspenders?
Tie Chair is a project by mexican designer Moises Hernandez (developed for the Bauhaus Mobel Company) that looks to ties and suspenders, pieces of which have been important symbols in fashion history (Steve and Co. rulez!) integrating their functional and decorative characteristics into its design.
Leather ribbons are used, as a result of the abstraction of these fashion elements, providing the seat not only an aspect of aesthetic personality, but also back support and security.
The chair either uses a single leather strap to mimic a tie, or two leather ribbons to visually look like suspenders.

How to strike an exciting note in home decor? Steve and Co. suggests this original, do-it-yourself Paper Guitar project.
Simplicity and complexity aren’t mutually exclusive in this intriguing kit where perforated pieces transform, through patience and skill, into a detailed simulacrum of an actual guitar.

Mykea is a project so simple but unique at the same time.
Basically, Mykea takes some simple and basic Ikea pieces and customized them with original design stickers: the final effect is simply beautiful!
The even better part is that they welcome design submissions from graphic artists out there, and they also put together a design kit to make their life easier…I think this is great, isn’t it?

Things often get lost under the sofa, but in the case of Daisuke Motogi‘s sofa things are also lost inside it!
Love this armchair for holding and hiding things designed by Japanese studio Daisuke Motogi Architecture.
Items can be stored by wedging them into slots between the upholstered cubes that form the seat…
So funny!

Unfortunately this is still a prototype but his designer, the creative Juri Zaech, is going to work very hard on a way to produce one of these bikes.
I really hope he could succeed in that so I could have my ‘Steve and co. write bike’!

Joseph Walsh is a kind of magician that creates stunning pieces of furniture by using wood.
Wood is probably the oldest and most used material and here is shaped into a stunning and romantic bed called The Enignum canopy bed.
This particular new piece belongs to Formations collection and definely invites to be sheltered in a natural translation indoors…

Steve and Co. loves vintage furniture and in particular fell in love with this original chair designed and produced by the artist designer Katie Thompson.
The project born from an old worn out suitcase takes on a new life as a comfy chair.
The Suitcase Chair has a steel reinforced internal structure, upholstered in 100% white linen with Liberty floral fabric covered deep buttons and whitewashed timber turned legs…simply beautiful!
