S & C: Gestisci un web magazine di moda e stile. Pensi che i social media abbiano cambiato il nostro modo di acquistare?
SD: Assolutamente no. Le persone sono sempre alla ricerca di consigli da qualcuno di cui si fidano. A volte sono i blogger, come avviene ultimamente. La gente è abituata a comprare vestiti, spesso senza provarli, e ora acquista online e rende se l’acquisto non li soddisfa. Ma non è una novità: i grandi magazzini hanno sempre venduto tramite catalogo.
La vera differenza che trovo è che ora si può acquistare facilmente in un negozio in Tanzania, se si è disposti a pagare i costi di dogana e spedizione. Questo è davvero bello.
S & C: Come definiresti un gentiluomo moderno?
SD: Il gentiluomo moderno deve essere signorile. Di modi gentili: si ricorda di aprire la porta alle signore e sa come fare un complimento con eleganza. Principalmente gli uomini hanno anche bisogno di tornare ad essere un po’ ‘istintivi’ a volte, sai? L’essere un più istintivi è sexy. E chi non vorrebbe esserlo?
S & C: Quale sarà l’accessorio maschile must-have di questa estate?
SD: Accessori? Direi il cappello in paglia: di cappelli se ne vedono ovunque, ma io apprezzo quelli con uno stile retro’, originale ma non troppo difficile da indossare. Ne acquisterò sicuramente un altro (l’anno scorso ho sofferto troppo)!

Panic! at the Disco is an American pop punk duo, formed in Las Vegas in 2005, and with an original and smart style.
Music critics named a number of different genres to describe Panic! at the Disco’s music, including emo, pop punk, electro, vaudeville, and baroque pop: these labels were more of a reflection of the band’s work on A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, as the stylistic shift on Pretty. Odd. made many of these claims insignificant.
The band, that released their third album, entitled Vices & Virtues, on March 2011, has also a great sense of style: so they often wear skinny pants, shirts with a lot of stylish details as braces, bow ties and belts…
