Preppy is big this season but that definitely doesn’t mean neat.
In effect preppy has had a bad boy makeover: a skater boy look with piercings and tattoos along with spiked up hair adds cool beach casual to the polished preppy look of the past.
So, Steve and Co. suggests to mix punk/grunge skater influences with more mainstream classics: long denim shorts, tattoos, and scruffy hair combined with heat shirts, suspenders and even a bow-tie accessory.
Apparently, ‘Zarb’ is the French slang for ‘bizarre’, therefore this new brand of champagne is anything but ordinary but it comes from the domains of the Baron family in France, a family with a tradition of over three centuries in champagne making.
The bottles of Zarb, however, are a different story: as a matter of fact, each one of them is a piece of art and they come in as many versions as there are reasons to drink champagne…
Have you ever seen a Chair looks to ties and suspenders? Tie Chair is a project by mexican designer Moises Hernandez (developed for the Bauhaus Mobel Company) that looks to ties and suspenders, pieces of which have been important symbols in fashion history (Steve and Co. rulez!) integrating their functional and decorative characteristics into its design.
Leather ribbons are used, as a result of the abstraction of these fashion elements, providing the seat not only an aspect of aesthetic personality, but also back support and security.
The chair either uses a single leather strap to mimic a tie, or two leather ribbons to visually look like suspenders.
From the catwalks to the street, the bag is a must also for man look.
Probably the “it bag for men” for the Spring Summer 2011 season is vintage inspired but revisited in a wonderful fresh way, and it can be shared;-)
Maybe it should be called the “boyfriend bag” so Steve and Co. suggests to steal it from your boyfriend’s wardrobe!
You can choose the business bag from Steve and Co. (shop on line), so stylish and minimal or the Postman style shoulder bag in soft grain hide with natural treatment (shop on line).
